Applying to college and all that comes before it should be an exciting time in your family - but the reality is that there are so many moving parts to selecting the right schools to apply to. GHCC has the expertise to walk you through each step of the way.

We are focused on the "right fit" and will show you how to curate the perfect college list. We will then ensure that you are taking all the steps necessary to submit applications that reflect the best YOU!
Total Package 1-on-1 Individual Counseling
With the Total Package, you will meet with Arlette regularly in order to go over every part of the college application process.
The Total Package will be tailored to your needs, and includes the following:
- Conduct preferred college characteristics survey
- Instruct on how to conduct targeted college search and provide individualized college list
- Help identify possible majors
- Review testing (ACT/SAT) landscape and determine strategy
- Discuss extracurriculars and make recommendations
- Highlight special talents
- Work on Brag Sheet and activity lists
- Help with letters of recommendation
- Essay Courses, brainstorming and review of drafts
- Review and advise on all application platforms and submission options
- Discuss all forms of financial aid including access to powerful cost and scholarship search tools
With the Total Package, you will have exclusive use of CollegePlannerPro, a powerful all-in-one college application research and tracking website which also provides you with access to Arlette 24/7.
We will be with you every step of the way, through your final decision.

College App Express Group Coaching
Class of 2024
College App Express group coaching provides many of the same benefits as the Total Package, but in a group setting, specifically designed to work with Class of 2024 students. This includes creating your college list, what to look for when selecting a major, discussion of testing, access to Essay Courses and overview of brainstorming and essay prompts, assistance with each application platform and all their components.
All meetings will be recorded; students will have access to the recordings and various resources through a dedicated platform. Further, students and their families will have access to CollegePlannerPro for research and tracking of all deadlines. Additionally, parents of College App Express students will have access to a private Facebook Group.
Arlette will hold regular online "office hours". In addition, each College App Express family will have 2 hours of one-on-one time with Arlette to use as they wish.

From Now to College Monthly Membership
The newest program at Grays Hall College Counseling is the monthly subscription "From Now to College", a community designed for parents and students to learn and share. This program is great for the parents and students who want to be more "DIY".
Each month Arlette will:
- Do a live training on a college counseling component and have a Q&A period afterwards
- Each month families will receive training and resources such as checklists, templates, videos and links to help them apply what they have learned
- This will include topics that are tailored to the current members based on their year in high school
- At the beginning of summer, the rising high school seniors and their families will be part of their own group allowing for very specific topics to help guide them through the application process
- Members will have their own private Facebook group to allow for free exchange of advice, information and support
- All meetings will be recorded and available to subscribers going forward
- There will be resources each month including checklists, templates, and helpful videos
- Every few months, Arlette will have guest speakers to address particular college counseling topics of interest to the group
